The funding for the advertising that benefits The Arts In Philadelphia is made possible by the generosity of The Lenfest Foundation. Established in 2000 by H.F. "Gerry" and Marguerite Lenfest, the foundation is primarily dedicated to supporting programs in the areas of education, arts and the environment throughout southeastern and south central Pennsylvania, southern New Jersey and northern Delaware.

The year-long television, radio, outdoor and online advertising is designed to promote performances and exhibits presented by many of the region's arts, music and cultural institutions including the Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts, the Philadelphia Museum Of Art, the Philadelphia Orchestra, the Opera Company of Philadelphia, the Pennsylvania Ballet, Peter Nero & The Philly Pops, the Chamber Orchestra of Philadelphia, Broadway at the Academy Of Music, American Theater Arts for Youth, the Philadelphia Chamber Music Society, the Curtis Institute of Music and the Mann Center for the Performing Arts.

People throughout the Delaware Valley have become familiar with the campaign's TV commercials that feature an array of notable persons from the entertainment industry, sports and politics telling viewers, "You're gonna love The Arts In Philadelphia".

We've been privileged to work with actors, performers and artists like Julie Andrews, Kevin Bacon, Rachael Ray, Danny DeVito, Placido Domingo, Billy Crystal, Kenny Gamble & Leon Huff, Blythe Danner, John Legend, and Chazz Palminteri , to name a few, all of whom have kindly appeared in the commercials. The campaign creates great visibility for The Arts In Philadelphia and the appearance of internationally-recognized people inspires audiences to attend.
